Description
This project is an automated storage system implementation case for TONG CHUN, a water transfer printing processor. The equipment specifications are a small 6-meter automated storage system with a load capacity of 300 kg per tray. It is mainly used for the centralized storage, environmental control, access control, and inbound / outbound operations of water transfer printing film materials.
TONG CHUN is located in Changhua and is a professional water transfer printing supplier designated by original automobile and motorcycle manufacturers for coating applications. Its primary services include plastic surface coating, three-dimensional curved-surface covering, plastic mold processing, and rearview mirror products. In response to its new factory construction plan and the management requirements for water transfer printing film materials, the customer sought to introduce an automated storage system to address issues associated with traditional shelving, including time-consuming restacking, excessive floor space occupancy, difficulties in manual recordkeeping, and insufficient access control for film materials.
Based on the storage conditions required for water transfer printing film materials, Apex Equipment Co., Ltd. planned and implemented one small 6-meter automated storage system within an independent compartment equipped with air conditioning and dehumidification systems for temperature and humidity control. After implementation, the film materials can be centrally managed through tray-based classification, access control, and digital records. This not only improves storage and retrieval efficiency and inventory record accuracy, but also makes material management in the new factory more organized, secure, and efficient.
